Last week I shared a thank you letter to the Mirage resort in Palm Springs. I had a great shoot with Kieron Knight and Ethan Roberts (available to subscribers of Fantastic Foreskin!) a few weeks ago and it was a blast!

We took a lot of photos and I wanted to share some more of the behind-the-scenes shots and some of the photos I wasn’t able to use on the members’ area. I also want to give a huge thanks to Rob Rushmore who runs the very-excellent Gaypornarama blog. If you haven’t checked it out, do youreslf a favor and bookmark his site now. One of the best parts of shooting Kieron and Ethan, was hanging out in between the shoots. Ethan was always connected, laptop, smart phone. Kieron and I joked that he was texting in his sleep. An open letter to the Mirage Resort in Palm Springs:

Dear Folks at The Mirage,

Thanks so much for hosting us for our Fantastic Foreskin shoot in April. You have an absolutely beautiful resort and a really friendly staff. We were in paradise.
I brought Ethan Roberts and Kieron Knight down to Palm Springs for a day to do our shoot. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We were all having a blast. We checked in, threw our bags in the room and I grabbed my camera while the guys shed their clothes. I knew I was lucky to have such beautiful (uncut) guys and I wanted to put them in a setting that would do them justice. The Mirage was ideal. We started with photos in the grassy area of the Avalon area. The open space and tall trees provided the backdrop as the guys got to know each other. We moved on the steam room area. Those bricks outside brought some beautiful color to our photo shoot. Of coarse, the real magic was in the waterfall. Looking at the photos, it’s hard to tell we’re in the California desert. It looks more like we made the long trip to Hawaii. But that’s one thing I love about the Mirage: we tropical beauty meets desert warmth and no clothes required!

We paid our proper respects to the penis god and moved on to our video shoot. We stayed around the waterfall as the guys started exploring each other’s bodies. Ethan pushed Kieron against a boulder and ran his mouth all over his body. The guys got into the waterfall. Ethan said it was cold. Kieron, being English, had no problem with the cold. He was so thrilled to be there, he wasn’t going to let anything spoil his chance to have photos and sex in a waterfall!

When I got home, I was just dazzled by the way the photos and video came out. So beautiful. We had such a great time at the Mirage and it shows in every single photo. Thanks for putting up with us, our posing, our cameras and our sex under the sun. Your staff and even the other guests seemed thrilled to have us there. Ethan and Kieron developed quite a fan club in our short time there. And we all became fans of you resort.

I shot Kieron out in Palm Springs on a trip we took with Ethan Roberts. We had a lot of fun along with the porn making. Neither Kieron or Ethan has been to Palm Springs before. Well, Ethan was there for a day on a shoot, but he didn’t get to see anything. I had a blast showing these guys the pleasures of a clothing-optional resort. We also hit Bongo Johnny’s for dinner. The guys really turned heads with the mostly older crowd in Palm Springs.

I was working with a new camera and I got some great shots of Kieron. Of coarse, shooting outdoors is so much easier. I wish I could shoot all of my models under the fun. The beautiful waterfall at The Mirage was a great backdrop. It was nearly paradise! I should also mention that the water in the waterfall was really cold. Kieron braved it out and I’m so grateful he did. The pictures are some of my favorites.

It was a really fun shoot. We all crammed into one room and we had a blast. We hung out, chatted, took naked pictures, recorded a video blog, we acted goofy, met some fans and really became friends. I always hear about porn being un-sexy and all an illusion. Maybe I’m naive. But I think making porn can be fun. We had a great time. I really like and respect these guys. And it was amazingly HOT! I was hard the whole time.

I figured out how to do it by using some code, but there’s not an image preview there. Been trying to figure it out, but it looks like it’s beyond me for now. I may get someone on Scriptlance to work it out for me at some point. I’m also concerned that the 95% of the world without a Mac may not have Quicktime and can’t see the video. Being a pornographer can be challenging!

I’m looking forward to the Mr. Uncut portion of Cathedral City Boys Club Resort’s Mr. Cut & Uncut Contest this Saturday in Palm Springs. Naturally, I’m WAY more excited about seeing the contestants for Mr. Uncut. Hopefully, I’ll even find some hot models for Fantastic Foreskin!
